This morning we started doing sessions on non-violent direct action. Part of it involved trying to match the photos of the following people with their names. We had a hard time some of them, and especially with the women from the First Nations.

 

We then got quotes from each of them and shared what we knew about them. Since I hadn't heard about a lot of the people, and I know very little about most of them, I thought it would be a good idea to make a list to help me remember then. And since I've made a list, I might as well share it, so here it is, in random order:
